I think consumables is the way to go. Last year I bought a classy rum. I like the idea of coffee - thanks! Maybe a selection of single estate beans, that sort of thing.

I'm no writer, but I'd suggest you can get some way towards it by using local / dialect words and expressions without trying to mimic the pronunciation. Like 'nay' for 'no', 'aye' for 'yes' etc. Or am I talking bollocks?
