An absolute nobody. She/her. Immigrant. Dreading 4 more years of chaos and cringe.
When was the last time a Trump (other than Mary) travelled on a commercial airline?

@realeddiemarsan.bsky.social Are you at least part Italian by any chance? I've found your doppelgänger in an Italian cemetery.

Wow.

This video is truly eye-opening.

Take a couple minutes to watch this.

A mind-boggling visual representation of wealth inequality in America.

This sh*t ain’t workin’, folks. #TaxBillionaires #UnionsForAll

Becoming a member of the President's Cabinet shouldn't be easier than becoming a member of the President's Florida social club, yet Mar-A-Lago actually requires a background check.

I'm old enough to remember the original One Day at a Time. There was an episode where Barbara wanted a string bikini, so she asked if she could get a t-shirt with a man's hands printed on it to look like they were cupping her breasts. No, but ok to the bikini. Maybe Gaetz is Trump's t-shirt.

'Draining the swamp' of the knowledgeable professionals that inhabit it and replacing to them with bootlickers. What could possibly go wrong?
The idea has existed for years and, as Trump prepares to take office, it will begin on day one: Make thousands of federal career civil servants “at will” employees and, in turn, fireable for not doing what the new admin demands.

This will be the first step in a radical reshaping of the federal gov.
How Trump plans to purge thousands of government workers
And politicize the federal bureaucracy.

Will his followers object to the strongarm approach, the problematic precedence that would be set, or even the complete unsuitability of his nominees, or will they applaud him for pursuing his goals without letting anything stop him? My money's on the latter.
@benjaminwittes.bsky.social discusses the possibility of Trump using the presidential adjournment power to recess-appoint Cabinet officials, bypassing the Senate's confirmation process for his national security nominees.
The Situation: Gaetz and Gabbard, Adjournment and Recess
Will the Senate even get to vote on Trump’s bizarre national security nominees?

Rumors that Lauren Boebert is going to be Secretery of Education are most disheartening precisely because, despite being untrue and unhinged, sound feasible considering the madness that is Donald Trump. #NothingSurpisesMeAnymore
