TYPE: GREATER ANGEL DATA: Chained to history of Heaven's teachings; Why one shouldn't let praise and approval become all they are, the existence of Idolatry is rooted in a more convoluted history than tales of 'Indulging the Ego leads to misfortune.' Once a well-faring angel among the masses alike, Idolatry lead another name. Another purpose, another life. The in-between isn't clear, however what tipped the gates of Heaven off led to Idolatry plummeting hard and fast, any semblance of Divinity stripped from his being, along with the notion of angelic flesh, peeled away. Fate was set long before retaliation. Hell became eager, feeding off the rare carpus while shoving the leftovers into a former shell to fit alongside its denizens. With ceaseless wandering, it was soon till the Ferryman were discovered, and their long efforts to hell-mass carvings. As Idols retain holy light by proxy, Idolatry carries one by his side to not only provide a divine force separated from Heaven, but to act as a proclaimed vessel for the Idol's aid too. Despite his decay, Idolatry spends most time still acting out kinder social routines and aiding fallen Husks who look to him as some sign of hope for salvation, growing ever closer through hushed whispers. Archangel Gabriel may be the most revered, but there are still souls who would do anything for Idolatry. Anything. STRATEGY: Idolatry is passive by nature, her arm is too short for summoning energy, and wings too small for true flight, but can only be defeated once all other blessed enemies are cleared. Try not to get close when he blesses another enemy. The spiraling end of her Idol can be used as defensive melee. When vulnerable, aim for the head, not the legs (Lack thereof.) The Idol has a 50/50% chance of piloting his corpse, do not leave it for long.
