Don’t delay! The deadline to have your ballot count is 4:30pm on November 24.

Whether President Trump likes it or not, everyone has a right to defend themselves from charges made against them by the government.
Definition of "due process" as a constitutional right that ensures people are: informed of why they've been arrested, provided with a chance to challenge any accusations, provided with a fair and impartial jury of their peers, if they go to trial. These rules apply to everyone in the U.S.

The only horrors we want this weekend are on movie screens.

It should scare all of us that the daily routines of all Washingtonians – no matter where we live or what we look like – can be captured by license plate reading cameras and turned over to the federal government.

Don’t forget to turn in your ballot for Washington's election next Tuesday! Returning your ballot at an official drop box is a great way to ensure it is counted on time.

In 1967, we represented legendary drag queen Sir Lady Java when the LAPD threatened to arrest the owner of the club where she danced. This case was just one small part of her lifelong advocacy of queer expression.

We carry her legacy with us today as we defend our communities in joy and style.

Bayard Rustin was one of the most influential organizers of the civil rights movement, leading key protests like the 1963 March on Washington for racial justice.

Bayard dedicated his life to fighting for equal rights for the Black community, LGBTQ people, and economic justice.

Our rights don't disappear when we interact with immigration officers.

Make sure you know your rights.
If you interact with ICE agents at work: 1) Ask if you are free to leave. If so, you may calmly walk out. 2) You can refuse consent to a search. 3) You have the right to remain silent. You do not have to discuss you immigration status with anyone. 4) If you have valid immigration documents, you should show them. 5) If you are arrested, say that you wish to remain silent until speaking with a lawyer. 6) You have the right to record your interaction with ICE as long as you do not interfere. Washington's General Election is coming up on November 4. Do you have your voting plan ready?

Like with any goal, clarity is your friend. We're more likely to follow through when we know how, when, and where we'll be turning in our ballot.

Punishing people for being unhoused is cruel and ineffective.

We must reject efforts in our state and across the country to criminalize people living outside.
