On Monday, the Rutherford Co. Library System Board faced something they weren’t prepared for: a packed room and unwavering support for the freedom to read. The pressure prevented the banning of more than 2,000 books.

According to the @dailymemphian, nearly 90% of immigration arrests by the Memphis Safe Task Force began with traffic stops, NOT investigations into violent crime.
