Three more days until me and my D&D group get our asses pounded. We’re right at the start of a massive fight and none of us know if we’ll make it out of this alive. We’re about to fight a mech with a very powerful enemy at its side along with other extremely dangerous enemies.

Had a therapist that did wonders for me and started me on my path to better mental health back in 2015-2016. My mom brought him up in conversation so I decided to see if I could reach out to him and send him a thank you email. I managed to do just that and this is what I got back.

The Sabine hilt install fell through but that frees me up to work on one of these. The new KR Sabers “Fortis” hilt! Hoping to have some photos and videos up in the coming months.

A bit of Death Stranding: DC on the new iPhone 15 Pro Max. I streamed this from my PC so this is not natively running on the iPhone hardware just yet. I think Kojima Productions will be releasing the iOS/iPad OS version out later this year.

Got a new charger to go with my iPad Pro! The charger that came with the iPad is rated for 20W of power delivery. This new charger from Anker does 65W and holy smokes does it charge stuff fast. Went from 39% battery to 95% on the iPad Pro in about 15 minutes with playing a game.

Kickin it with some Star Trek II at 6am. I love Star Wars but my dad brought me up on Star Trek. It holds a special place in my nerdy heart. I was even fortunate enough to meet some of the cast and crew members from Next Generation! Worf and Counselor Troi to be specific.

I’m thoroughly enjoying my playthrough so far. This game’s polish is leaps above Bethesda’s previous title releases and I’m glad they took the extra time to work on the game when they did.

My sister had chickens for a minute. She recently gave them to a family member. (Gladys is the one in white. Aretha is the one in black.) It sucks that I won’t get to play with chickens anymore but I’m glad they have a home where they can be the best birds ever.

Kenobi’s Desert Wanderer, Kylo Ren’s cross guard, and Mace Windu’s BMF sabers. These were such a blast to install.

Sold my 2020 iPad Pro 12.9” and upgraded to an M2 iPad Pro 11”. I’m loving the form factor of this iPad. It’s not as large as my last iPad Pro but it feels a lot nicer in the hands.

This will be my next install!!! I’m excited to see how the toggle switch operates :D. It’s up for pre order and I’ll have to wait til mid October to receive the hilt but I’m super excited to get to work on it!

When I’m not installing lightsabers, I’m designing the chassis that will fit inside of them to hold the electronics. This chassis is for the Desert Wanderer/Kenobi series hilt and it comes in three variants for three different soundboards. I use Fusion 360 for my designs.

Installed a Mace Windu hilt as a gift for my friend and D&D DM, @acrylicpxl.bsky.social! This was one of the coolest hilts I’ve had the chance to work on. Chassis was designed by me and 3D printed in resin.

The first Kylo Ren hilt that I installed as a gift to a friend of mine. This one was a challenge because of it needing three neopixel connectors wired up instead of just one. I designed and 3D printed the chassis in resin and was able to fit a larger 21700 battery for longer sessions.

Obi-WAN’s hilt from the Kenobi series! I love the carbon steel emitter on this hilt. After the install, I did some weathering to the hilt. It was my first attempt at weathering and I think it came out pretty well. Some fine grit sandpaper and acrylic paints were used for the weathering.
