Nor did it ever totally end. DGR is a shell of its old self but there are still big "anti-cancel-culture" figures on the left who proudly support these people.
DGR is still out there recruiting at environmental demos, too.

That's an intriguing concept, Max. I wonder if there's a clever acronym one might use to refer to a "government occupied by Zionists"...

Kyle Kulinski is claiming the controversy around Platner is "an op" by Palantir and AIPAC because "some political sources" suggest Palantir software was used.
Do people really think identifying a reddit account is that difficult? We've been doing it daily since long before these AI tools existed.

This is seriously the most painful set of excuses I've seen since that dude from the Wagner Group who was doing up his body with a full scale Nazi uniform tattoo.

I can totally understand how people might miss the finer points of underground and esoteric Nazi fixations like Vril, but this is the kind of thing you'd be expected to recognize if your entire knowledge of Nazis came from Tarantino flicks.
How are people seriously arguing this?

I simply do not know how anybody could have known this symbol had Third Reich associations before today...
It's not as if it ever gets referenced in popular culture. There isn't some massively viral comedy sketch entirely focused on that particular skull motif...

No, rage-fuelled rants soaked in ironic humour centred around "...political corruption, social atomization and collapse, cultural decadence and perversion" are not an original or progressive approach to politics.

Pretty sure bro does not want those of us who've read his articles weighing in on this subject.
Some of that stuff, like the time he linked to Rovics' deranged flowchart of the "Portland Antifa conspiracy", might not look so good in light of current events...

Any criticism of Yves must take "thirteen books and 1000+ articles" into consideration.
Rachel's complaints about Yves? Not even worth mentioning here.... mostly because it would become clear she's upset about his (latest) dalliance with the far right, not outraged by his left-wing views.

Remember when Tucker got in all that trouble for having the "historian" on who argued Churchill was the greatest villain in WW2?
That was Daryl Cooper.

Whole lotta folks are gonna tell you how unprecedented this all is and how much they wish we could go back to old-fashioned "reasonable" conservatives.
I'd just like to point out that our former PM, Stephen Harper led a national witch-hunt over the Tides foundation more than a decade ago.

Might be worth mentioning Alexander's personal involvement with said "charity", and the stuff about their whole board resigning over the scandal...
This is the (v. well-known) part of the story that deserves further coverage (but probably won't get it cuz lawyers are expensive).

Oh and also, just to be clear, this is not a subtweet* of a certain aspiring candidate for Canadian PM who went to the Tigray Genocide Fan Club for help with his Rwandan genocide denial problem....

To be fair some of it probably comes down to the Canadian tankies because of Eritrea's heroic resistance to Canadian mining companies...
...oh wait. No. Definitely not that either.

Love how prominent Eritrea is on this list. Helps explain why tankies love it so damn much.

Been looking for a bit on multiple platforms and so far it seems like the only person defending this is... Yves himself? IDK who has me blocked but this is a level of consensus that's almost unheard of when it comes to Israel, Ukraine or the NDP.

This isn't out of character - Yves has worked with just about every (other) tankie crank under the sun but even for him, this was a staggering new low.
