I also like that they have a very buff, masculine guy like Kiba be FIERCELY protective and loving his considerably more delicate, thoughtful, quiet son.
So many games at this point would have them at loggerheads, but Suikoden 2 shows them being loving and accepting of their differences 😭

It's been 20 years, but I don't think any game has ever nailed the poignancy of sacrifice in war the way Suikoden 1 and 2 do for me.

It's been 20 years, but I don't think any game has ever nailed the poignancy of sacrifice in war the way Suikoden 1 and 2 do for me.

It’s not surprising to me I have a brain gremlin for gangster men with unhealthy parental relationships with their children, but it is weird to me that it happened twice in a row with dudes with fucked up eyes and a penchant for badass subordinate women and popped collars lol

I really wish that they had made a Lee when they did this sticker set because without him I can't have all my mains on it. But I got 2 out of 3!

Speaking of evil, Leknaat's warning that Cleo should bet he one to look out for Tir doesn't really make sense on a first play through.
But by the end of the game on a first (non-walkthrough) run, everyone in Tir's party at this point will probably be dead -- except Cleo.

It would make it easy to make Teo an evil father, but he isn't. And Teo struggles with his duties to his country vs his love for his family.

Wanted to get an American style fight stick and man, your options are LIMITED.
Literally have to build your own, and 90% of the enclosures on the market won’t fit an American collar.
Which is a shame because I grew up on the Happ. I’d really love to try a Yankee/euro one.
