My neighbour is an absolute cretin - a bully and a perpetual complainer. But he knows his bin days (and rights). And he’s apparently first to phone the council if they “forget” to collect one day. He is my bin calendar.

I bought a pack of 50 nails from B&Q earlier today for a safety critical project and there were only 48 in it when I got it home. I thought it wouldn’t matter but the structure collapsed and killed twelve puppies. I hope you’re happy.

I mean, this is basically what Builder AI were doing with $500 million of investor cash. Just a bunch of Indian developers pretending to be an AI coding platform. They went spectacularly bust two weeks ago.

Private landlords (and/or their holding companies) renting to individuals need a sliding tax scale which is 90% of rentable income on any properties over the first one. Arbitrary, punitive and fuck em all.
