Today is the 1y anniversary of my BC diagnosis. Yest. I skied a black mogul run top to bottom w/o stopping & in doing so firmly raised my middle finger to cancer. Last year was tough. I am in no way out of the woods but, given the circs I like to think like the name of the piste, I am bossing it.

Back at the lake. A bracing 4.8 degrees. Still warming up. Feeling v relaxed now tho!

Safe to say my night out the big smoke with Law/French alumni was absolutely brilliant. 34 years of friendship and counting

Off to the big smoke for a uni reunion. In a cheese shop. I already know it’s going to be an amazing evening!

So that’s nearly 4 mins off my 5km time from 2 weeks ago. Pretty pleased with that!

Had a bad cold this week so I had to stop a couple of times for a sip of water but still 10secs less than last week for the 5km… getting stronger
