So many things require an app to use these days. Our EV charger has an app which is being decommissioned imminently. Fortunately the app provider is making sure the charger is connected once the app has gone, but we are at the mercy of the apps and WiFi and all the necessary backing servers.

Often tell people to think about how they would explain something over the phone as a way to prompt what to write.
