According to a 2022 Canadian Survey 27% of Canadians aged 15 and older have a disability that limits their daily activities. We have a unique opportunity right now, with so many new housing builds, to implement Universal Design!
The new federal Build Canada Homes program should require all new homes funded by the program be UNIVERSAL DESIGN.
