Carulli gave concerts and had a large number of students, including his son Gustavo. He was an innovator, adapting many orchestral and chamber pieces for guitar. Most of them are used today as teaching repertoire, especially for beginning guitarists.

He mastered the guitar on his own and became an outstanding virtuoso. At the beginning of the 19th century, the musician and composer moved to Paris, which was the center of musical life at the time. There he gained great popularity as a composer, performer and teacher.

Mars does indeed have two satellites, Phobos and Deimos. Their parameters are close to what Jonathan Swift described, with minor deviations. However, the existence of these satellites became known only 150 years after the publication of the book, and the exact orbits were measured even later.
