What see is high level sarcasm

- The 1932 photo it’s based on was a publicity stunt by an uncredited photographer
- The building in the photo is Rockefeller’s RCA building at 30 Rockefeller Plaza
- Opening of RCA was delayed due to a controversial mural by Rivera called “Man at the Crossroads”

The critical flaw of AI is that it’s designed to mimic humans.

Here’s an overlay of Ukraine on a partial US map for those who think visually.

To be clear, it doesn’t make Putins actions any less heinous but facts are important. The US covers an area 16.3 times the size of Ukraine.

I’m neither affected by nor affiliated with this project.

My goal here is to promote critical thinking.

Read the plan. Look at satellite imagery. If you have concerns about the contractor or company making the proposal then check their track record.

Inform yourself.

Asking “why” is a superpower.

Contractors are well watched & regulated. The plan includes reclamation and regrowth like any energy project and the gen-line runs along established off-road trails so maintenance of its 1.3 mile stretch will be accessible without new roads

To be clear…

Well done :)

…don’t take my word for it, or theirs, read about it yourself and form your own opinion instead of relying on someone’s outrage.

The math wasn’t mathing so I looked it up.

The agrivoltaic project is spread across 2,704 acres with 1,292 of those remaining undeveloped. So, 3 trees per acre IF they remove 4K trees (the number is unspecified)

All of it will remain open to grazing and include pollinator friendly habitats.

But…

Only because google search went from using 0.03 watt hours to 0.3 watt hours since incorporating AI in every search regardless of whether or not you use it.

As for ChatGPT? 0.34 watt hours per inquiry.

Clearly, the best option is to use neither.

Does using ChatGPT really take 10x more energy than Googling?
True story: Every digital action contributes to data centers’ growing footprint.

Those of us in the north who start work before the sun rises and don’t get home until after it sets for half a year can tell you, without hesitation, that your pretend study is complete bullshit.

Thank you for being brave enough to share your thoughts.

The language exists in Union speak.

AI is a scab.
October 1, 2025 at 12:48 AM
My prejudice towards AI is based on its plagiarism of my work

If you feel my skills and those of other writers have no value then I suggest you consider a future where all words, songs, and art are merely copies of copies of artists long replaced by AI

It devalues art, culture, and humanity itself

Russia sent 31 satellites into orbit with 100kw nuclear reactors… decades ago.

A 40kw nuclear reactor can fit in the trunk of a ‘70’s sedan.

You don’t build one on the moon, you send it there in a box.

For reference; 40kw of solar can power most homes and costs around $60,000.

Life is all about taking chances or not taking them.

You make a decision. You stand by it. You move on no matter how it turns out.

No regrets. Only choices.
July 20, 2025 at 1:27 PM
You assume too much.

If you honestly believe that your view is the only one that matters then this conversation should end now.

Enjoy your day.

I’m not talking about media livestreams, I’m talking about the hundreds of personal livestreams. Zero propaganda.

I’m sorry your experience was rough but where I live they were peaceful. Neither experience represents the whole.
June 19, 2025 at 12:20 PM
Your perspective is personal and that makes it narrow. It does not represent the experience of millions. To get an overall view you must step back and take in as much as possible. From that view it was largely peaceful.

And to be clear; agitators exist on both sides of the fence
June 19, 2025 at 12:13 PM
That’s like insisting that all traffic is bad everywhere because you live in a metropolitan.
June 19, 2025 at 11:40 AM
Do you honestly believe your view, confined in places to a hundred feet or less, and your experience gained in just one of over 2,000 locations, is an accurate representation of what happened over thousands of square miles to millions of people?
June 19, 2025 at 11:38 AM
Protesting comes in many forms. Feet on the ground is just one and it provides a limited personal view.

Consider the perspective of someone who was on the street in an area where agitators stirred up trouble. To them the protests became violent while to millions of others they remained peaceful.
