Yeah, good point. This was an issue I worked on under some Ds- even Kaine- who didn't make the same push and was noting the change in the party. But many of the gains were made under McAuliffe and Northam.

Important to note that this wasn't always even the Republican position. Bob McDonnell did a lot to advance felony voting rights in Virginia.

Just did my annual road trip cracker barrel stop with the kids and the hashbrown casserole, pancakes, and cream soda were still top notch. Got the kids the obligatory candy sticks on the way out.
