Fair point! I do the same thing. Although I live in a country where Labour say that they will work with Reform to keep the SNP out. All integrity out the window. Labour would adopt fascism to keep Scotland from self-determination. It'll be difficult for many to forgive that. I won't...

I feel your pain. Not much of a choice between Labour/Tory/Reform. The Greens look quite good, though. Polls suggest that they may be unable to beat Reform, though GE is a long way away. We live in interesting times, sadly!

To be fair, I never said that he was stupid. I was trying to guess what another poster was getting at. We shall see where they take us all but I hope, sincerely, that WM does this without Scotland. I will be much happier with a government which tries its best for the population. I have high hopes.

If you're saying that it's not baffling because he is stupid then that's one opinion to have. Otherwise it is baffling (to me at least) why he wants to make Labour unelectable. 🤷🏼‍♂️

So, you are saying that the welfare bill being 'too high' matters more than whether those in receipt really need their benefits? Make the benefits money fit the budget. Don't rejoin the EU and save tens of billions per year, though. These policies help indy but I do feel sorry for those affected.

Rejoining the EU is not only possible, it is inevitable. Why not stop haemorrhaging billions by rejoining? Starmer should be held accountable.

I agree with you about the role of the media and the many mistakes of the Tories. But they inherited a £20 billion black hole. Other parties said that before the election. Labour said 'wrong' - until they got into power. Now this will get worse due to Brexit. Yet they will not rejoin. It's wrong.

But they think that the elderly and disabled should bear the brunt of tax hikes. They failed to save Grangemouth refinery or pay the WASPI women despite promises. They are trying to force disabled people into work even when it's impossible. They won't reverse ruinous Brexit. Migrants policy is sick.

It is true that MSM support right wing politics. The BBC is almost a fan club for Reform. However, my opinion of Labour comes from their actions. Much of what they do is abhorrent. Where I live, they are unpopular because of what they have done.

Yes, very true! I wasn't taken in by him. I just found him a bit slimy and duplicitous. However, as you say, his performance has been unbelievably bad. From a landslide General Election victory to fourth in the polls in such a short time. He appears to be clueless, politically.

The baffling thing is that he continues on the road to ruin. To be so unpopular within 18 months of replacing a hated Tory party is quite an achievement. Not a good one, though...
