Catalysts Pedals are gigantic. You center your foot over the spindle instead of forefoot. They don’t need special shoes. They have manny screws that hold your shoe tight. I’ve ridden many miles with no problem.

Once you get in shape this would be a refreshing 30 to 45 minutes each way. Unlike driving the bike rides would give you an enjoyable trip. Until you are in shape the ride will be exhausting.
