The U.S. spends a fortune on incarceration but relatively little on re-entry. Many Inmates not picked up by family are dumped with out with little money, no place to live, and no job prospects. Is it surprising we have a high rate of recidivism?
I’m always how amazed how there are always a few guys threatening and shoving everybody around while 90+% are peaceful.

Opinion on Bafang vs. Bosch for e-bikes and e-recumbent trikes. I got a Catrike 559 with a Bafang motor—I hated it. Without a torque censor, the pedaling was jerky. I replaced it with a Bosch, and the pedaling is just like I remember for my regular bikes—just with a bit of help when needed.
