What's maybe equally worse is they then invariably follow up spending/wasting time (as on WatO today) speculating on who the briefer is.

Honestly, never heard about a player mutiny - is there really a myth to debunk?
Also, find it interesting that football seems to be the only industry where employees suggesting a different way of doing things is a 'mutiny'.

Maybe they're not cowards but actually support right wing authoritarianism?

I also think VAR has had unintended consequences, eg players seem to stay down for longer in hope of drawing VAR's attention.

My main concern is that too many here would quite like a bit of authoritarianism (obvs assuming it would be inflicted on others, not them).

I think there are arguments that the type of constitution isn't as important as how much people and institutions are prepared/able to resist authoritarianism. We're sadly seeing that the US system also relies on people in power being decent chaps.

I can't imagine a job i'd like to do less. Managing an organisation held to a ludicrous standard by roaring idiots on a daily basis, while the main mediums it uses are all in decline and it's starved of resources.

Tbf, Johnson and De Ligt is an odd match-up.

This is where you could see ST holders start to wonder if a ST is worth it. I'll miss 3 games by Xmas because of illness and family commitments. Can no longer pass ticket to friend with crn, and can't sell on exchange.

ST holder friends have told me that tickets they've put on the exchange don't show up as available...

Yes, they could've just punished those who'd done something wrong rather than those who hadn't.

He occasionally dyed it in his Spurs days, but at least he kept a decent cut then!

Well, it's a start! But agree, all the group stage games should be Cat C as a max, with special deals for eg a package of 2 games.
