The "reasoning" it gives also happens to be useless. At one point it rationalises its move as blocking potential diagonals from you, but it already controls the center, making it literally impossible for you to ever threaten a diagonal.

Roaming being deprecated is actually pretty new. It stopped being recommended with W10 1909 and no longer works on W11

The three AppDatas actually have a reason to exist. Roaming for example used to sync between all devices where your domain account is used, while the difference between Local and LocalLow is the trust level associated with the programs using them (though I don't know the specifics here)
