I propose a pride flag design for proton users
A CPU usage chart from the KDE system monitor program, split per-core. Due to the high CPU load of shader compilation, the stacked charts form a slightly jittery rainbow rectangle, reminiscent of the classic rainbow pride flag design.

Wake up babe, new UI design trick just dropped
A screenshot of the layer creation dialog in Inkscape. Below the text box for a layer name, there is a radio button selection of where in the layer tree the new layer should be placed. From top to bottom, the options read "Above current", "As sublayer of current", and "Below current". The sublayer option is indented, giving a subtle but powerful intuition of what the different selections will actually do.

I switched at the end of September, with most of my playtime this year happening in the summer months before that. Overall though, gaming on Linux is like 90% of the way there ime. Proton covers the last 10%. The biggest remaining issue for me right now is the sheer size of shader caches.
