I had to say goodbye to my beloved cat Dexter today, after 12 and a half years together.. what I wouldn't have given for a birthday (yesterday) or christmas miracle for things to have been different, to have more time, better circumstances..

I'm trying to put together the echo rod from The Fruitless Quests of Nabiu, and even if I can't make it look nearly as good as experienced cosplayers/artists could, I hope I can do it at least a little justice!

Welp, today has been a fun day.. having to get one of my cats to the vet thinking she tore one of her claws. Find out it's some abcess or infection -- whatever it was made her start limping dramatically, even though she was entirely normal earlier today.
Anyway now she's treated, coned, and drugged.

Case in point for the destructo-tail - he was snoozing when I took this! His tail's alignment is surely chaotic neutral even if he is a wholeheartedly Good Boy, for the times his casual tail curling around a glass has made me scramble to stop cups from being dragged off the table.
