Found this on Reddit. Seems that it is a very real possibility that one of the other big countries get in.

My money is on New Zealand as the sixth team. Barring that, maybe Pakistan. Their white ball performance has improved a bit since the disastrous Champions Trophy.

I'm just going to go ahead and say that I feel the Blackcaps have this. I'm calling 143-5 and 16 overs. #NZLvWIN

Duffy out here basically saying “Nah mate. Not happening.”

Up to four wickets today. Oddly, while I haven’t watched the whole match live, I’ve watched all his wickets live.

As a random aside, I feel like any cricket fan in the Western Hemisphere should be a fan of the West Indies. For a very, very long time they were the only 'big' team on this side of the globe. We have a lot of expat fans from other nations here but I will always have a soft spot for the Windies.

I just realized the 5th #T20 match of the West Indies tour of New Zealand is on at the respectable time of 6:15 p.m. for me. So...that's my evening sorted then.

NZL leads the series 2-1 with this final match being the series decider for the home side or a chance for WIN to snatch a draw.

Happy to say that I have finally reached double-digit episodes for the podcast.

As always, I am so thrilled so some of you have taken time out of your day to listen to me prattle on about #T20Cricket for basically a year.

And, here's another rain delay. Covers coming on.

WIN at 38-1 right now after 6.3.

Hopefully, the rain will clear out with enough time to get enough cricket in to have a result.

I've got to say, one of the hardest things to overcome as a newer fan to cricket is when you read the ball-by-ball commentary. If you are not really familiar with the lingo and the positions, it's a nightmare.

I do love the names of the relative positions on the pitch in cricket though.

💥 WICKET TAKEN

Athanaze out for 21 (18) after skying one straight to the waiting hands of Mitchell.

Always nice to see a wicket shortly after tuning in. Sadly for WIN they are now at 30-1 in the final over of the power play.

I did not even realize New Zealand and West Indies were playing today. Happy surprise for me. #T20Cricket is always a joy.

NZL need to win this one to take the series.

It's 13 minutes to midnight here in Texas and I am going to sleep. No one tell me the scores for the next matches. I need something to occupy my Sunday morning.
November 9, 2025 at 5:47 AM
That's that.

Renegades take the first match of #WBBL11 with a 7 wicket win (66-3, DLS method) performance to defeat the Heat (133-10).

All-in-all, a fantastic game of cricket to kick off my favorite season of cricket.

The rain messed things up a bit but I think the same result was on the cards.

Final over. Six needed off six deliveries.

60-6.
November 9, 2025 at 5:43 AM
52-3 after the 6th over.

14 runs at 7 RPO is all that's needed. Just a few singles and a couple of boundaries and that's business for the Renegades.

All the pressure on the Heat right now.
November 9, 2025 at 5:40 AM
Two overs remain. Renegades looking very dangerous at 46-3.

20 runs from 18 balls at 6.67 RPO.
November 9, 2025 at 5:36 AM
I love and hate the anxiety/stress of watching a close run chase. This is what made me fall in love with cricket.
November 9, 2025 at 5:34 AM
Halfway through the Renegades's innings at 35-3.

Need 31 more runs at 7.75 RPO.
November 9, 2025 at 5:31 AM
Really aggressive fielding on both of those chases to keep the boundary protected.
November 9, 2025 at 5:26 AM
Renegades 'power play' ends at 13-3 with Dottin's wicket taken off the tip.

Still chasing 53 more runs and needing 8.83 RPO to take the win. Definitely achievable but this has really gotten quite interesting.
November 9, 2025 at 5:23 AM
Another wicket!!

Capsey is out for 5 (4)!

Renegades are already down 2 wickets with only 5 runs to their name. This short second innings is already going wild.
November 9, 2025 at 5:19 AM
DIAMOND DUCK FOR HAMILTON!!!!!!!!!!

💎🪿

Perrin's debut lasts for all over one delivery.

0-1 after 1 ball for the Renegades.
November 9, 2025 at 5:13 AM
Here we go!!

We have a second innings on the way.

66 is the target.
8 overs (2 over power play)

I think the Renegades come out hard and fast to try and (successfully) put this away.

So excited to see Perrin play in the #WBBL
November 9, 2025 at 5:11 AM
WOW! 8 overs for the Renegades...

Based on the reduction, the target is 66.

The calculator I found online said 34 runs was the target so I definitely do not know what I am doing.
