Shingrix kicked my butt, but I have friends who have had shingles. Prefer the shot to their experience.

Surely there are some actual problems in Missouri?

Yeah, but now he has direct access to the US Treasury. He can write himself govt contracts at will.

I wouldn't count on that. These are the same ppl who are mad that Pres. Obama didn't do anything on 9/11, 8 years before he was president.

I haven't watched CNN specifically since 2001, when they showed a group of Arabic people jumping around and cheering, claiming it was because of 9/11, when the video really came from some sports event.

You left out, "add an additional $40 to your electricity bill each month to make sure the C-suite of that private company gets their bonus after they make a subliminal effort to winterize their equipment. Shareholder profit is so much more important than your life!"

Because scammers are everywhere, especially on social media. They take advantage of disasters. My opinion is that it's better to give to a reputable organization than to unknown individuals. With the organization, there's some chance the ppl who need it will get help.
January 3, 2025 at 5:09 AM
Do you think scammers will answer honestly?
January 3, 2025 at 5:03 AM
I think the problem is that scammers ruin everything. I think many people would be willing to donate money to an actual person who is suffering in Gaza (or anywhere else). But there's no way to tell if it's a real person who needs help or an opportunistic scumwad.

I always check on my older FB friends whom I don't see often (how I discovered my adult kids' former baby sitter had passed) before I post BD wishes. Several friends I post heavenly BD wishes on their page. Everyone else knows they're on the other side, as well.

People have been murdered for things they cannot control for as long as there have been murders.

I remember when the Rainforest Cafe near us opened, probably 2010 ish. Kids were little, and we went for lunch with the godmothers. Fun times!
