I have a little Praat script that automates much of this. Zoom in on an editor window with a sound and textgrid, then run the script. Some good options for customization.

MS Word now automatically generates alt text for images (which is great!), except it's terrible at it.

Anyone interested/willing to help me beta test a Praat script?
The goal is to have a nicely aligned waveform, spectrogram (with overlaid pitch contour if you want), and TextGrid without having to manually change the viewport/margins/etc.

Finally read RF Kuang’s “Babel”. Really enjoyable and great #linguistics content (plus a lot on race and empire). Will definitely add this to the list for my “Language in SciFi and Fantasy” course!

Praat experts: has anyone figured out how to align the top line of the TextGrid with the bottom line of the spectrogram in the picture window? I always end up with either a space between them (not pretty), or overlap (even worse). #linguistics
