We’ll obviously try to make the most of the loan market and I don’t see us straying too far from the philosophy of bringing in young players but I think they’ll be mad not to try and sign at least 2 proven League One quality strikers.

It can’t be understated how hard that job will be as we need to spend a bit a bit money as addressing the issues we have doesn’t come cheap, try to hold onto key assets (Tickle, Kerr) but also make room in the squad for one or two better players.

I think having 90 minutes and 75 minutes to stage a comeback doesn’t make it as impressive. United’s 2-1 against Bayern is objectively probably the best comeback. Again, not a United fan. End of discussion…

I’m not even a United fan. Just look objectively. They’ve scored 3 goals in 15 minutes to win a quarter final. That’s insane?!?

Oh yeah because of course playing against 10 men is notoriously much easier to breakdown and score 3 goals against?! You’re 2 goals ahead and a man down so of course you’re not parking the bus.

Yeah. I think we should just about have enough but day one of the window has to be about signing 2 or 3 strikers. It would break our mould but I’d be looking at Paul Mullin right away.

There are games in hand and quite a few games against teams around us with some returning, forward thinking, players to our midfield. It’s in our hands. Add to that, our defence has been excellent all season.
