Huge news! Yesterday, a Federal judge halted the Trump Admin’s attempts to dismantle the Department of Education and ordered the *immediate* rehiring of all staff that were unlawfully fired.

Tonight at 1:00 am, House Republicans will begin Rules debate giving the largest tax break in American history to billionaires, gutting Medicaid and food assistance, increasing taxes on working people, and creating the largest deficit spending in American history.

Happy Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

#AANHPI communities are woven into the fabric of our cultures and have shaped every corner across NM.

Today, let’s not just celebrate this heritage but recommit to ensuring every community is seen, heard, and represented.

If you're breaking the law, lining your own pockets, and calling it "public service" — the Amendment I introduced in the Oversight Committee has your name on it.

No more taxpayer-funded grift. Not for Trump. Not for Elon. Not for anyone.

The GOP once again blocked it.

Chaos and uncertainty are not words you want to associate with wildfire preparedness. We have already seen how devastating these fires can be and so the decision to cut 10% of the workforce–and possibly more!–as we head into fire season is unconscionable and, yes, crazy.

Pope Francis died on Monday at 88. His papacy promoted inclusivity, embracing survivors of sexual abuse by clergy members; LGBTQ Catholics; Muslim and Orthodox clerics; and leaders of developing nations, where he believed the church’s future was rooted.

Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

Right now, Elon Musk and other Special Government Employees (SGEs) with significant conflicts of interest are working the system.

We demand reform. That’s why @warren.senate.gov and I introduced the SGE Ethics Enforcement & Reform Act to ensure SGEs are subject to oversight and accountability ⬇️

Today, I went to our Social Security Office to conduct Oversight and was denied access to meet with officials.

Instead, we were given a generic phone number in another state and denied entry past the waiting room.

This is the OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE—so why is the GOP talking about vape pens and weight loss drugs rather than conducting oversight on Trump's firing of 10,000 federal healthcare workers at HHS and 3,500 scientists at the FDA?

These cuts WILL threaten the health and safety of our food and drug supply.
