This video, better than stills, illustrates just how many people marched in Boston yesterday.

City hall plaza, filled from the JFK federal building, stretching across Cambridge St and all the way down Tremont St to Boylston.

Yesterday, we sent a historically big message to Trump, Musk, and the GOP — and we also sent a signal to all those who agree with us but have spent the last few months feeling shaken, hopeless, and afraid. #handsoff

Considering how widespread chronic absenteeism is right now, why don't more school leaders identify it as a top problem? My colleague @jillbarshay.bsky.social explains why absenteeism can be genuinely hard to identify: hechingerreport.org/proof-points... #edusky

A decisive legal victory for climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann in a defamation case that lasted a decade. Dr. Mann was awarded over $1,000,000 in damages.

Pfizer produces the Covid treatment Paxlovid for $13.

They’re charging $1390 for it.

Pfizer donated $5.7 million to members of Congress since Covid began to get government contracts and keep drug prices high.

Price gouging is legal because our campaign finance laws are broken.

So many thoughts today after visiting a highly selective college with our daughter that we all believe is the place for her. I know she has the stuff to be a valuable member of that learning community. I know she has the stuff to get in. The question is, will she? So many thoughts. #EduSky

Went to the laundromat this morning for blankets, left w/ powerful learning about the work needed. A woman working there also drives a school bus, doesn’t feel supported in addressing impactful student behavior. Driver shortage or not, we must support our staff, teach our students. #EduSky
