Let's make orecchiette! I browned a finely chopped leek in butter, shaped the pasta dough made with 2 parts semolina and almost 1 part water (300g / 125g), shaped the pasta with a butter knife. Added leftover pumpkin from a can to butter beans and the leeks, tossed with pecorino and parsley.

There was a typo in my Uniqlo delivery email. Instead of quantity of one, the email shows 101. I was secretly hoping that this was a ridiculous shipping error and a crate of socks was going to appear at my door. I could travel around the country giving away socks. A regular Johnny Apple Sock.

After caramelizing the onions, I browned a tomato, split in half, cut side down, added tomato paste, and then the carrot, celery, garlic. Deglaze the pot with cheap chardonnay from a box then added thyme, parsley, and bay. I added the soaked beans and broth. Into the oven with confit carrots on top
