Today is #ThxBirthControl Day!

Birth control access is about health, freedom, and taking charge of our own futures. Last year, Missourians made that clear when we voted to put reproductive freedom in our state constitution, including the right to birth control. (1/2)

Last year we voted to legalize abortion. Now politicians want to take away our rights and hope we will not notice.

Hawley’s bill, a product of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, also includes language that bans trans health care for transgender youth on exchange plans–a clear signal to the deceptive ballot question facing Missourians in 2026 cynically relying on a trans youth care ban to ban abortion. (2/3)

Yesterday, MO Sen. Hawley filed a bill to ban abortion coverage on Affordable Care Act health plans. The federal Hyde Amendment currently prohibits federally-funded health coverage of abortion care with few exceptions; this bill expands this dangerous amendment to everyone on an exchange plan. (1/3)

The Western District Court of Appeals rejected the Attorney General’s attempt to reinstate an abortion ban in a unanimous decision. And in 2026, Missourians will vote to keep abortion legal. (1/3)
