The @deathpenaltyinfo.org names 201 persons exonerated who had been death sentenced. Executing innocent persons is a primary reason for Bert Mutersbaugh's opposing the death penalty. Gallup's October 2025 polling finds support for the death penalty waning, at its lowest since 1994.

#NoKings Thousands turned out in the Archdiocese of Louisville to demonstrate opposition to the policies of the administration. Crowd: easily 2 - 3 thousand participants. These six & at least 1 other Catholic priest witnessed against the evil being committed against the people by Trump and friends.

Mary Alice Pratt was a well-known member of the Lexington KY peace and justice community. She volunteered for years in the effort to abolish the death penalty before her death in 2012. In this brief video she reveals her family suffered the loss of two members to murder. @8thamendment.org

Marcia Willoubhy describes the pain and hurt she suffered when her son was sentenced to death. She died in 2023. Her son remains on death row in. The reference to the Nunns recalls that Steve Nunn, son of a former Ky governor, was convicted of murder, is serving a sentence of life without parole.
