another clarification:
That encounter was in a tea shop; I didn't notice them next to the housemate and only said something because I was trying to squeeze by to an open seat.
It WAS about a year after I spoke to the owners of AYA, which I only did after hearing multiple other accounts of abuse.

Sorry, are you not aware that the above post came after over a year of said person seeing to it that fae was ostracized from any and all local community, including in that very same encounter trying (poorly) to surreptitiously get my housemate away from faer in that bookstore? Context pretty vital.

yeah, it's been a bit jarring that all the Maoist Standard English accounts on here are a lot more concerned with the fed thing than the way prevailing political attitudes led directly to excusing abuse
