Anders reflects on grief, desire, and our longing for another world through their Burial Blankets, handwoven, fully biodegradable cloths meant to facilitate conversation around mortality that can be used for green burial. 🔸

Applicants who are not selected are welcome to apply again in future cycles. “Q”. Can grantees who were already funded apply again? “A”. After a year. Field Funds does not award the same applicant or project twice in the same year.

ID2 - Same background except the title is now in the bottom right hand corner. “Q”. Can applicants who were not selected in the last cycle reapply? “A”. Yes! Field Funds grantees are selected at random from the pool of eligible applications.
November 18, 2025 at 3:01 PM
For this reason, there is no need for applicants to make a case for why a project is deserving of support; instead we ask applicants to speak directly and concisely to how they will specifically use $500.
November 18, 2025 at 3:01 PM
All eligible applications have the same chance of being funded. All Field Funds applications are reviewed for eligibility. All eligible applications are automatically assigned a number, and a number generator makes final selections randomly.

Image descriptions, alt text embedded: ID1 - A lime-ish green glitter with a paper foreground. The title at the top says FIELD FUNDS FAQS. “Q”. How are recipients selected? “A”. Field Funds recipients are selected randomly by a random number generator.

Through Field Funds, members of 1518 were able to develop a new community-led theater project and perform pieces of it in-progress at Purgatory in Brooklyn over the summer. 💞 They were recently accepted to the Evolution Festival at the Center at West Park!
