This is one of my favorites. Chuckles here missed one of the most important points of the story, that even a clueless 14 year old (like I was when I read the books) got immediately. They're actually *dumber* than high school me.

I dunno how much is performative, but when the performance is literally just "look at 'em squirm!" I think its safe to call them sociopaths.

My go-to color scheme! Its simple, with enough room to play around with 'red on the right, blue on the left' directions. (Apologies for the blurry picture: it was the only printed Trebuchet pic I have currently)

This was from a few years ago, iirc back when Target started getting threats about Pride displays and caved pretty quick.

I tried Vallejo's version of contrast paint, but I misjudged how dark a shade of purple it was (Hermes II for reference). So it doesn't match the rest of my Marik Militia, but it came out okay.

The light is a little off, but I was experimenting with using a speed paint and it came out a darker shade than I was hoping. Should I 1) Shrug and paint the rest of it in Marik Militia like normal, or 2) throw some white and call it a Free Worlds Guard? #battletech #mechwarrior #miniaturepainting
