How FAIR is shared data in psychology?

We analyzed 11,384 datasets (2013–2024): They're findable, but less reusable!

What relates most to differences in FAIRness? #Repository choice.

Our trained #ML model can be found on PsychArchives: doi.org/10.23668/psy...

It is ready to be applied to other corpora to identify more translational papers.

Great collaboration with @cspetrule.bsky.social, Viktoria Ritter, Anke Haberkamp, Stefan G. Hofmann & @rief01.bsky.social 🙌

Happy to share that our #bibliometric analysis of #translational psychological treatment is now published OA in the latest issue of @apajournals.bsky.social's Clinical Psychology: Science and Practice! doi.org/10.1037/cps0...

Terminological inconsistency may threaten the progress of the field!

Today, my dear colleague @annameret.bsky.social presented our work on data sharing in psychology at @icssi.bsky.social ✨We show that open data is findable, but less reusable.
Preprint coming soon, preregistration available on PsychArchives: doi.org/10.23668/psy...

Using a machine learning approach informed by social impact theory, we found that researchers do not rely on a single influential figure in their network to change their behavior and migrate.

Instead, a critical mass of peers discussing the topic is considered relevant.

Remember the old #Twitter and when you decided to migrate? How important were your peers for your decision?

In our current study, we use data from 250k researchers during the 2022 migration to #Mastodon to examine #socialinfluence within the research community.

For our soon-to-be published study on translational psychological treatment, we developed a paper identification workflow using sentence embeddings and machine learning. This may come in handy for other studies in #bibliometrics!

Do you work with text data? Then our ✨topiclabels✨ #Rstats package may come in handy.

Using open #LLM, it automatically assigns a topic label to a bag of words.

It also works with all popular #TopicModeling packages!
