How, and in what ways, can leaked criminal records be weaponised to target individuals?

Will we even discover the fallout from this given who may be #victmised?
This cyber attack www.theguardian.com/law/2025/may... is one of the worst ever in that apparently people's criminal records have been hacked. These records in the hands of hackers could do terrible damage to people who have long moved on and risk people being subject to blackmail

Particularly useful for those doing comparative work. Its not just system factors that matter, you have to consider micro level institutional factors too (i.e. specific prison or even wing location)
