Forse stijging van aantal hongerstakers in gesloten terugkeercentra: “Vaak de enige manier om wanhoop uit te drukken”
In 2024 gingen 166 mensen in gesloten terugkeercentra in hongerstaking, dat is een flinke stijging ten opzichte van de voorgaande twee jaar. Tegelijk is er nog altijd weinig zicht en controle op hoe het er in die centra precies aan toegaat.
