My brain immediately went to "Remember, remember the fifth of November, Terrible, Dickish and Trite."

Yeah. None of her usual advantages apply there. Dragon companions are a dime a dozen, and they already have one truth-caster. They'll hate her money, her connections, and her clothing. And she stole Roderick away from their daughters. Gonna be a tough audience!

That's just what I'm trying to outline right now! How Frederica wins over Gwynedd. :)

Yeah. This is where I am right now, after 20 years of people buying my stand-alones as soon as they come out. But they won't buy the series until it's finished, and it's doing real damage to my career.

The Wednesday and Enid scarf is gorgeous - amazing yarns. The fall quilt, too! I love how you pieced that together. My daughter is in love with the Not Haunted quilt. I still have a chance at one of the cowls.

The dinosaur one isn't my style, but what an amazing quilting job! Wow!

Everything you made is so gorgeous! I'm still lusting after some of the things I got outbid on, which really deserve even higher bids!

I'm the caricature of an Austen reader - I found MP dull when I was younger, then read it again in my fifties and realized it was rather brilliant. And an interesting guide into JA's mind as an author - you can feel the societal pressure she was under to produce the 'right' kind of book.

Your real friends will understand that. If some people won't believe in a disability they can't see, that's a reflection on them, not on you. But it's still a disappointment whenever it happens.

The constant dilemma. No answers, but I hear you.

I was astonished at how quickly my HS Spanish came back. I'd thought it long lost! And yes, I remember those charts in chalk. If you find a good app, let me know. :)
