I have just listened to a student who said that there are 40 people in her cohort who are qualifying without a job to go to. Student nurses spoke about qualifying and then working in Costa.
It is a national failure.
We need to change this and to develop and embed a clear career progression.

We need organisations to act strongly and with conviction to live by the policies they hold.
I think we also need to deliver leadership support so nurses can manage these conversations - Person centred care for our staff is important. @rcn.org.uk
