Chuck Schumer has united the Democratic Party
November 10, 2025 at 8:21 PM
No age limits and no term limits voters have got to be responsible and vote people out. Like voting out Schumer in 28 for AOC or Lander.

A governor is better suited for the jobs anyways. Probably a reason why vew few come from Congress unless very talented like Obama.
Honestly, I do think it’ll have to be a governor on the ticket in 2028 because earned or not, everyone in Congress will have loser energy vibes as an unavoidable side effect of being in the minority under Trump.

This is the way to do it. We do need change. This is how gets done.
Absolutely.

The far right took over the GOP through the long process of taking over local and county organizations and the left can do the same. It’s not an instant fix but it actually works.
Join your county Democratic Party! There are shockingly few people willing to show up and those are the people who get to make decisions

The useless Dem caucus:
Kaine, Rosen, Fetterman, Shaheen, Hassen, King, Durbin, Cortez-Masto are the dems yes votes
November 10, 2025 at 2:18 AM
Naw we just primary those who vote yes. Most of party is against this deal.
Don't worry this will fucking evaporate once a bunch of democrats with no constituency except their leadership-pleasing staff fucking cave against the least popular president in American history.
Democratic lead in the generic congressional ballot average, per Real Clear Politics, is the largest yet for this cycle at +4.1 www.realclearpolling.com/polls/state-...

AOc said it best doesnt matter if left, liberal, moderate just need to fight. This vote to end the shutdown shows some Dems wont fight. Its time to primary them and choose new leadership. Time for Lander and AOC to step up in NY. If Huck votes yes will vote for his primary challenger No living pastm

People on the right need to calm down, no one is in danger under Zohran, the worst thing that will happen is he will be an ineffective mayor.

Very good election night 2G passed and 310 failed but still was a good night.
November 5, 2025 at 8:45 PM
Well said
i closed out my column this week with this preemptive jab at basically every commentator currently looking for ways to say that last night didn’t count

I moved to Denver without knowing a single person. I made a lot of good friends by joining groups like YIMBY Denver and Denver Dems.
The solution to the male loneliness epidemic is attending a local Democratic Party canvassing event.
WOW. 81% of women 18-29 voted for Mamdani, 80% for Sherril, and 78% for Spanberger.

Gen Z women aren't playing around.

Two snippets of why I think Dems did so well last night.
November 5, 2025 at 3:16 PM
I would say 2018 and 2020 and even 2022 felt good.
November 5, 2025 at 3:02 PM
The left loves to call the Dems center-right, but they are center-left. Most Dems would be part of the "left" parties in Europe and Canada, which themselves have more more to center. Dems want universal health care, living wage, progressive taxes, more of a social safety net, more housing, etc.

For those who receive SNAP benefits I don't care if they use them on soda, or lobster, or something else nice. Don't got to be well off to enjoy life.
November 4, 2025 at 7:48 PM
Its Election Day tomorrow Denver and if need quick voting guide vote yes on LL, MM, all Vibrant Denver bonds, 2F, and the union candiates for school board. VOTE no on 2G and 310.

Panic around Zohran has always seemed silly. If I got a issue with the guy is his policies may be unrealistic, not bad policies. We have seen him act like another AOC. Walking back past statements, distancing himself from DSA, meeting with the business community and having productive conversations.
