Disgusting: my presentation at UNESCO cancelled at the last moment. I was invited as a presenter in Jan by LT4ALL conference hold in UNESCO. My presentation about Uyghur is 25th in the afternoon, a few hours a I have received an email that it is removed from the list. No explanation

Really saddened to report that Abdullatif Kucar, the patriarch of the family @abduwelia.bsky.social and I spent so much time with for an Embedded series on Xinjiang, has died. He was suffering from cancer for years. Devastating how much one family has to suffer.
