New slit-throat chokers. I would have loved one when I was younger. Should I do some in green and purple for slime?

When you found a great deal on a green house, and your partner says yes, and shows you the great deal they found on a wood stove...

What's more fun than the apocalypse? Shopping for the apocalypse!

Want to know what is not helping my end-of-the-world anxiety? Zombie shows. And yet...

What do we think?

To the apocalypse, and beyond!

Wow, I can buy 2 lbs of apples for $5 at the grocery store, or I can get 40lbs of apples direct from the orchard for $16. Cut out the middle man! Shop local, friends!

January 2024 I had a complete mental break and took the month off work. Things are so much more dire now and I'm struggling to find the will to live, let alone keep going to work. But I need every penny I can scrape together until the economy collapses for good.

If you're not grilling your leftover corn muffins, what are you doing with your life?
February 9, 2025 at 12:07 PM
It doesn't have to be authentic to taste delicious. Caldo-inspired pork soup (extra cilantro a must!) and corn bread.

Mushrooms are on sale this week, so guess what's in my dehydrator?

Stocking up to feed my family. What are you prepping this week?

I am constantly waffling back and forth between:

"The world is ending and nothing matters so I'd deserve this treat."

and

"The world is ending and I must save my children, prep as much as possible, stop spending $ on frivolous stuff."

My cats are @$$h0les and I cannot start seeds indoors. I'm going to give winter sowing a try. Who wants to save milk cartons, jugs, and soda bottles for me? We only use 1 carton of almond milk a week and I won't have enough.

FML. I had to cash some bonds after I totalled my car and now I owe so much taxes 😭

🤦I know I should let my kid tough it out today after forgetting her backpack at home but between all classes being on the chrome book and the ADHD, I can't let her fall that far behind. Mom to the rescue fml

Yesterday was as long as I thought it was gonna be. Here's to a better day today.

Made some killer pork stock over night in the crock pot with the bones from my roast. Gonna make some Caldo-inspired soup with it.

It's 615 and I'm already tired thinking about today's scheduled activities. My oven is broken. Thankfully, I replaced my crock pot as soon as it broke. Pork shoulder down and ready to slow cook for the next 10 hours. So much for a quick, small dinner after dance/before girl scouts

There's a chip in my crochet hook that keeps snagging on the yarn so I asked my son if I could borrow some nail polish to fix it and he brought down his favorite color for me 😭❤️

Happy Black History Month!
February 3, 2025 at 12:47 AM
No, I'm not panic-baking and using stuff I should be saving, not at all. Why do you ask?

Not to get all political on you but actually I do think you should be talking to people you know about this
cool how Project 2025 went viral during the election, we were told Trump disavowed it and wouldn't do it, he got elected and started implementing it immediately and now we're being told "well this is what people voted for"

they very explicitly did not
The people now in charge of the Office of Personnel Management apparently don’t know how to scrub PDF metadata, and have exposed the original authors of the guidance they’re publishing. Two, Noah Peters and James Sherk, have links to the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025.

Cutting SNAP hurts 20M kids a month who rely on it for basic nutrition. How is this the “cost-saving program” to target first? Kids can’t eat concepts of a pla. Food is not a luxury and kids didn't vote for this.

Fork Trump and all who voted for him.
