Just can't seem to keep these critters out of the neighbors pool. Another #California Giant #Salamander (Dicamptodon ensatus) I found in my neighbors pool. I have installed several critter ramps in their pool for when I can't check as frequently. #nature #amphibians #herpetology

Participated in a red #abalone spawn at the #Monterey Abalone Company #Monday morning helping select broodstock using #ultrasound . This video shows females releasing massive (millions) amounts of eggs (tiny green dots). Many thanks to Art, Kate, Nelson, & #MossLandingMarineLab. 🐌 #science #mollusk

Maybelline the #rescue #bulldog experiencing a bull #kelp (Nereocystis luetkeana) bladder for the first time after a quick trip to the town of #Mendocino #California. I didn't know how much she would love it. She carried it around so proudly and didn't want to let it go.
