Rivals seriously nailed it with Gambit. He’s such a fun and proactive hero. I love despite being another heal bot, dudes got bite and can protect himself against divers and flankers. And in strong enough comps, he’s basically another dps that can even melt tanks, its great!

Played a bunch more Riftbound with friends online today. I realized that I hate orange as a color, Aurora strat is stupid af. Also green and blue are my favorite colors, they have such fun mechanics, feel very control oriented and stacking reaction and hidden cards on a location can get very silly.

Ok yeah played more Riftbound today, definitely hooked. It’s such a fun game, especially 4-player. FaB is fun but being so expensive and hyper competitive I think I’m just going to put it aside in favor of Riftbound. It’s just more casual friendly but is still capable of being competitive, its nice.

Patiently waiting for my Ahri legend card to arrive but otherwise I received my full Ahri deck!
Her green build is surprisingly affordable and if I ever want to upgrade it I just need to get her blue champion and her signature spell. Kinda pricey but nowhere near FaB levels of pricey.

It took 2 days to get through all the 404 codes the Game Awards website threw at me but here are my votes for all the nominations. It's basically a Silksong/Expedition 33 sweep 😅

I found this cool book club styled gaming club that likes to do narrative and gameplay discussions in Discord and I'm really excited to participate in it. They are working on Disco Elysium and I always wanted to play it, feels like this might be the way to get through this game and its ideas.

OMG after multiple failed attempts I finally got a Hidden Bunker lobby where everyone organized together to get all the data downloads and even managed to kill a couple of Bombadiers and a Bastion together, it was awesome!

Shredders, the new Arc they added this week, is freaking hilarious. They hover and chase you slowly but ominously and when they trigger completely destroy the room they are in with shrapnel flying everywhere. Playing with some people I met online and we found a room with 10 bodies and 2 shredders 😅

God the Invisible Woman buffs made her a terror in Rivals, she does so much damage and just doesn’t die. It’s incredible lol I’ve never been on the receiving end of my main getting buffs, might end up taking advantage and do ranked again this season while she is still strong.

Got a friend across the country to try Riftbound with us so we ended up managing to find a decent Riftbound sim in Tabletop Sim to play with them. Super stoked this will lead to more Riftbound nights with friends and in a really accessible way too ☺️
