Just about halfway through Act 1 of Daybreak and the side quests are already a stand out. One of the reasons why I also liked Daybreak 1 is because of how different Spriggans are compared to Bracers in the work they do and how they solve it.

Just a few day until Daybreak 2 and I don't know if I have time to start a new game and beat it before then, so I'll prob just finish Tsukihime Ciel route

This place reminds me of that place in CS4 where Arianrhod rests, and it is fitting considering that here in Ys symbolizes the resting place of Karja's mother.

I knew I had to fight these two eventually, really cool fight! First time playing an Ys game in nightmare difficulty and honestly the game is even more fun this way.

This whole segment of Ys was just amazing, honestly, while Ys games aren't known for their stories I think that each new entry keeps getting better and better in terms of storytelling. Love this!
