Spent most of my day today at my sister’s place going through garbage bags as she noticed that a bunch of the keepsakes and jewellery weren’t in the room one of the cleaners had taken care of.
Everything was in the trash.
Obvious keepsakes, jewellery boxes, and collectables just in with actual trash

If there is one thing I can stress to people, pre-arrange as much of your end of life stuff as possible.
Will, Power of attorney, pre pay over decades your plot or cremation vault to lock in pricing for now because it will only get more expensive.
