He can be a wide-eyed optimist, just a small guy in a big city, looking to find (political) love again, or he can be a pundit with a podcast who's listened to, trusted by an audience and so should be held to account when his analysis is not only wrong but harmful. He can't have it both ways.

I dunno do we live in much of a democracy when the press can effectively decide to shift the terrain of electoral politics to the advantage/disadvantage of a particular side?
