For those who don't click through: This is NOT the Old Farmers Almanac that you're thinking of, which is still going to be a weird thing you buy for your kids on road trips.

The "Wide World of Sports" thing would actually fit their market positioning/mission: Hurling into cricket into sumo into ringette into capoeria on a Tuesday night?

Since my kids were old enough to understand, I've instructed them to deliver "Trick or Treat" with the explicit threat in their hearts instead of some meaningless incantation

Still feel like McDavid was the only plan they had.

For me, all comes back to "trying to fit key players into a system they aren't suited to", and there not being the courage to find a way to innovate a high-flying playoff approach

Tourists can get a special version of the metro train rechargable card at entry point train stations. So much easier to get on your way in and then recharge as you go than to get one somewhere else!

If your first full day there is in Tokyo, when you're all tired and jetlaggy, I'd suggest the Hato Bus tour: That way you get dragged around the city, and get a sense of it, see a couple of the main things while not having to expend a lot of energy. Starts/stops at Tokyo Station, easy.
