It's a reporter or content jockey thumbing through a library real quick to shove something into the CMS, it isn't a step that's designed for The Thunderdome of Visual Hermeneutics that the (correctly) AI paranoid consumer is in! 90% of these are going to trigger the alarm, no matter the crop:

Not sure how old the menu picture is, but was there last year with family so confident in the $35 number... The weak yen helps a lot, but even when stronger Tokyo's always right in the list with these countries

Gonna push back there and say that even the tourist prices, & specifically Tokyo Denny's are *also* super cheap. Family of 4, big full breakfast, out the door for 35 bucks max. I think there's an instinct to say Tokyo's expensive (because of the airfare) but it isn't! www.timeout.com/tokyo/news/t...
