I originally thought I lost this collection of poetry inspired by Spring Awakening (the musical). I wrote these from Moritz’s perspective post events of show. I was playing Moritz at the time. It ended up as a cast and crew gift. #springawakening #springawakeningfan #musicaltheater #fanfiction

Remember the real heroes. The people who care for their communities. Who help veterans instead of abandoning them. Who stood to bear witness to evil and who tried to assist someone being assaulted. That’s all this man did. And he was shot multiple times. Remember the real heroes.
A video of Alex Pretti reading out the final salute of an unnamed veteran he cared for until the end of his life in the ICU, posted to Facebook by his son.

Also does anyone else pace their house while they read? Or is it just me. I read better pacing the house (usually kitchen) than if I’m sitting down. I get tired and distracted easy when I’m sitting and maybe the movement of my feet helps my ADHD🤷🏽‍♂️ #reading #books #blueskybooks #readinglife #adhd

Decided to do a deep dive into a film in honor of my film scholar undergrad roots. It’s been a minute since I’ve done something in this field, so be gentle.

Really enjoyed Weapons, so hopefully it’s the first of many similar deep dives.

Americans are really like we can’t tax the rich to help the country financially and to help institute systems that could lower health costs, provide housing and all that because it’s communism/socialism, and you’ll never fix the problems anyways, but we can invade these countries to help nothing.🤷🏽‍♂️

Favorite line I wrote this week:

“…pockets full of calamity

Decided to finally do something with my YouTube author channel. Watch or don’t. But it’ll be a place to discuss film and share some readings of my work.

Sending love to my home state today. No one should be gunned down, at home, at school, in a place of worship, shopping. God bless the victims and survivors and their families.

New opening line, rough: “When the juggernauts foot met earth, marquis ceased to be anything but sprinkled stardust, adding a brief but deep crimson to the barrenness of the valley of teeth.”
